Acne treatments – Review
Decision time in your acne treatment.
- Do you go for the antibiotic treatment from your doctor with the unknown outcome and the potential for disappointment?
- Do you go for the holistic approach as advocated in Acne No More?
- Do you go for the natural skinwash treatment?
- Do you go for the acne lamps?
The doctor prescribed medication has been done to death so we will not carry on with that.
If I could have my time again, I am sure that my son would have appreciated the rewards of the holistic approach that Acne No More offers and the rest of the family would have probably benefitted as well even though we didn’t suffer from acne.
Everything in the system is easily available from a local store or already sat in your cupboards and all you really need is the motivation to move forward with this, but even that is covered in the book.
There are cost elements involved in the programme, but tell me something that doesn’t ask you to put your hand in your pocket for supplements and the like, but these are minimal compared with the relief from acne that will be experienced.
Again, this may not suit everyone as there is no one size fits all answer for acne, but what you are doing is giving it the best shot before resorting to other, more expensive options if this fails or is not for you.
The downside to this book is the sheer size and volume of information that is contained in it.
The authors own stories of suffering from acne could have done with being a little shorter and get on with the treatment side quicker, but other than that, it all works very well.
You will have to judge the severity of your own acne when you start reading, and if the problem is quite mild, you may just find the External Skin Care Secrets section is sufficient.
One of the most important parts of the package is that you also get the opportunity to consult with Mike Walden personally by email for the first 3 months where you can ensure that you never feel alone.

I will post next time with the reviews of the best creams available on the market and post a seperate page about the lamps.
Acne facts (and myths dispelled)
What Is Acne?
I am not a medical practitioner or involved in the medical profession, so all of the following is freely available on the interent, and I have just done a lot of research to bring this together, so please don’t take this as a doctors view, just someone who cares.
Acne is basically an inflamation which occurs, for an as yet unknown reason, around the hair follicles in which the pores get blocked and prevent the sebum or natural oil, which can normally escape naturally, from draining, causing the acne.
There are 2 types of acne, Inflammatory and non-inflammatory, of which each has different types.
Non-Inflammatory
- Whiteheads are sebum which is trapped below the surface of the skin and normally look like little white spots.
- Blackheads are the same as whiteheads, but the pore has opened and the sebum is exposed to the air which allows it to oxidise and turn brown or black.
Inflammatory
- Papule is if there is a break in the follicle wall, the white blood cells come to the rescue and create the inflammation.
- Pustule is the later stage when the white blood cells get up to the surface of the skin and create a pimple or zit.
- Nodules occur when there is a break in the hair follicle which then becomes inflamed and causes a hard lump under the surface of the skin which is very sore.
- Cysts are pus filled lesions which have been caused by a very severe reaction to the inflammation.
There is another form of skin blemish which gets lumped in with acne called Milia and they have the appearance of tiny white bumps, but this is actually dead skin cells trapped trapped below the skin and normally seen in infants (called infant acne) but these will normally disappear on their own and need no treatment.
Who does acne affect?
Acne really has no one particular part of the population as its victim and will make itself at home on young or older, male and female, but the predominence appears to be around the younger people around and after puberty, and potentially at their most vulnerable time, just when they are growing into mature adults and need all of the self confidence and help they can get.
Acne myths.
There are many acne myths around which have been passed on from generation to generation, but some of these myths can actually be counter productive at worst and useless at best of which some examples follow.
- Opening the affected area to the sun will cure it. Wrong. In fact, this could actually do more damage because the sun will mask the breakouts, drying the skin and making it more irritable.
- Adopt a severe scrubbing regime. Wrong. This, again, can cause the skin a lot more irritation and cause more breakouts. You need to adopt a careful cleansing regime.
- Squeezing the pimple or zit will clear it. Wrong. This just causes the inflammation to go deeper and can create a bigger problem.
There are many more myths which can be dispelled around diet, age etc. and to do this, it could be invaluable to you to get hold of a copy of Acne No More to start learning about these and what you can do to prevent acne, control breakouts and actually get rid of your current outbreaks.
Acne cures and treatments.
We already talked about the standard medical treatment by going onto prescribed antibiotics, but these are a long term commitment, and if the acne you have becomes resistent to the antibiotics then the next step is a different antibiotic, and how many do you need to try to get the acne under control?
There are various over the counter and holistic treatments available, facial and body cleansing treatments, diet advice books for acne and a plethora of different resources, but the one thing you have to realise is that all people and all acnes are not the same.
You need to understand your own problem before it can be fixed and if only I had known about this book all those years ago it would have saved many weeks and months of worrying, and I have no problem in saying, before you do anything else, check this out.
I will make a small amount of money from you trying this out, but that’s the deal and it is available with a money back guarantee if you aren’t satisfied.

Acne treatments review – welcome
Welcome to acne treatments review.
The reason for this site is because of what happened several years ago with my son and the effects of acne.
His back became covered with acne, so we took him to the doctors to see what could be done about it.
Now I know that acne per se is not a life threatening disease in the fact that it is not medically dangerous, but at that age, it can be devastating to the person who gets it on the self esteem front and can send young men and women into a massive shell due to the effects and the look of the problem, and on one particular holiday in 40 degree temperatures, my son would not take his t-shirt off.
Anyway, back to the doctors and the response from him was long term low dose antibiotics with no guarantee that it would work, but in a lot of people it does.
So, here we are in the 21st century and all they can do is prescribe something that is becoming less and less effective against illnesses that are life threatening due to the over use and the bugs building an immunity and becoming “super bugs”, and we are talking about acne treatment.
Now, as I said earlier, the effects of acne can be devastating to the young people involved, but is this the correct way to go about it, even when the doctors aren’t that sure of the outcome, and what do they class as long term?
To that end, there is an e-book on self esteem that you can download now with no strings or opt ins.
